Your card sits in our case and shows on this site. When it sells, we pay you your share.
When consignment beats selling
Selling outright is fast and you walk out with cash. Consignment takes longer and usually brings more, because the card gets shown to every buyer who walks in and everyone who opens this site.
If you want the money today, sell it to us instead. We will tell you honestly which one fits your card.
A consigned card follows the same rule as every other card in our case: if it is listed, it is physically here, not a placeholder waiting on someone else's inventory. Nothing goes into the case and nothing gets listed on this site until you have agreed to the split with us in writing, so the number you signed off on is the number you get paid. We answer consignment questions at the counter every time the shop is open, and if you would rather have cash the same day than wait on a sale, we can quote that price on the same visit instead.
