What to bring

Prep habits that actually help
1. Surface first. Wipe fingerprints with a soft, dry microfiber if needed — no household cleaners, no spit, no eraser experiments.
2. Corners and edges. Do not press cards into overloaded binders the night before.
3. Centering honesty. Relic’s screen may tell you not to send a card; that is a feature, not a fight.
4. One stack per intent. Separate “definitely send” from “maybe” so the counter talk stays short.
5. Keep sealed product sealed unless you already opened it to pull the single you want graded.
Grading drop-off vs selling vs consignment
- Drop-off = you still own the card through the grading window; Relic submits.
- Sell = cash or trade credit same day on cards Relic buys (sell).
- Consign = Relic sells a high-value piece for you with a per-card written split (consignment).
Do not mix “please grade this then auto-sell at an invented %” into one vague ask. Separate the jobs at the counter.
After drop-off
Expect Relic to log the cards. Turnaround depends on the grading company queue plus Relic’s submission cadence — ask for the current expectation in person. When slabs return, Relic calls.
